- Pension Understanding Session — review of EPF and pension records with a plain-language written summary
- Pension Dispute Assistance — review, documentation, and correspondence support for declined or delayed claims

Services are delivered primarily in Kuala Lumpur and remotely to clients throughout Malaysia. We reserve the right to decline an engagement where it falls outside our scope or competence.

When using our Website or services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information when requested
- Notify us promptly of any changes to the information you have provided
- Use our Website and services only for lawful purposes
- Refrain from transmitting any harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data

We reserve the right to suspend access to our services if we have reasonable grounds to believe these obligations have been breached.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including text, layout, design, graphics, and documentation templates — is the property of Sandaran and is protected under applicable Malaysian law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
Written summaries, dossiers, and documents produced for you as part of a service engagement are for your personal use in connection with the matter for which they were prepared. They may not be used as legal advice for unrelated purposes or third parties.
6. Fees & Payment
Our service fees are as follows (amounts in Malaysian Ringgit, inclusive of applicable taxes):
- Pension Understanding Session — RM 570
- Pension Dispute Assistance — RM 1,180
- Whole-Family Pension Care — RM 1,900
Payment terms are confirmed in writing at the time of engagement. We accept bank transfer and other methods as communicated to you. Fees are due prior to or at the commencement of service delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Where an engagement is terminated by you after work has commenced, a proportionate fee may be retained to cover work already performed. We will set out the basis for any such amount in writing.
7. Service-Specific Terms
Scope & changes
The scope of each engagement is agreed in writing before work begins. Any material changes to scope requested by either party will be discussed and documented. Additional scope may attract a supplementary fee, which we will communicate clearly before proceeding.
Timelines
We provide estimated timelines in good faith. Some steps — such as responses from the EPF, pension authorities, or regulatory bodies — are outside our control. We will keep you informed of any delays and continue to act diligently on your behalf.
Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as strictly confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to carry out the services you have engaged us for, or as required by law.
Your cooperation
The quality and timeliness of our services depend on receiving accurate information and documents from you promptly. Where delays arise from your side, timelines may be adjusted accordingly.
8. Disclaimers
Our services are advisory and documentary in nature. We do not provide legal representation in courts of law. Any written summaries, reports, or documents we prepare are intended to assist you in understanding your position and communicating with relevant bodies — not to substitute for formal legal advice in contentious proceedings.
We do not commit to any particular outcome. Results depend on the circumstances of your matter and on the decisions of third-party bodies that are entirely independent of us.
Our Website is provided in good faith and "as is". While we take care to keep information accurate, we do not warrant that all content is current, complete, or free from error.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific engagement.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including loss of income, loss of data, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sandaran harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses — including reasonable professional fees — arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or any false or misleading information you have provided to us.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by giving written notice. Upon termination:
- You will pay for all work completed up to the date of termination
- We will deliver to you any documents or outputs completed at that point
- Obligations of confidentiality survive termination indefinitely
- Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability also survive termination
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or our services.
Before commencing any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected] and allowing a period of 30 days for good-faith discussion.
13. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any written engagement letter, form the entire agreement between you and Sandaran.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by us to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it at a later time.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to us at the address in Section 15.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For engagements already in progress, we will notify you of any material changes directly.
Continued use of our Website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with any change, you are welcome to contact us to discuss your position.
